Do you wear cashmere sweaters in the fall and winter? If you've answered "Yes!" then you have no doubt experienced the benefits of this glorious knit fabric and I'd surely be preaching to the choir. If you've sadly answered "No," then that is really too bad and you may want to make a few changes ie.upgrades in your wardrobe. Cashmere is the fabric that should be in your life. For most of my life, cashmere wasn't really part of my wardrobe repertoire. I noticed as a teen that heavy wool was warm but sometimes itchy and rabbit hair was lighter, but equally sometimes uncomfortable when it touched my skin. Over the years I leaned towards natural materials, eventually shunning acrylic and polyester blends. Silk has become a favorite to wear, though not to clean. Merino wool is another go to, especially in the cooler months. Cashmere is an equal luxury to wear. It's softness is unrivaled and just one of it's benefits. Cashmere's technical value is found in it's ability to provide great warmth, while remaining lightweight and breathable. It can be gently handwashed in cold water or drycleaned.
